Moving the Needle on Compensation Recommendations

Partners and Stakeholders,

I am pleased to share with you the final recommendations of Iowa AEYC’s Moving the Needle on Compensation project.

The goal of this work was to address early childhood educator compensation through the development of new strategies, better public policies and/or increased funding. A diverse team was formed and met over the course of the last year. The final recommendations are a result of their collective vision that Iowa’s ECE workforce is recognized as professional and compensated competitively. The document includes a list of comprehensive strategies by which to reach this vision. ­­­­­­­­­­­
