i-PoWeR

If you are a participant in the HHS Workforce Registry (i-PoWeR), please make sure to enroll through i-PoWeR (link coming soon) by September 25 so Iowa AEYC can process your enrollment for each session of the Institute you attend. The Pre-Institutes will have separate links to enroll in i-PoWeR.

i-PoWeR offers an online listing of HHS-approved professional development opportunities throughout the state. It is a great way to track your training completion. If you do not currently have an account, click here. For more information or assistance, please email info@iowaaeyc.org.

You will need to sign in at each workshop if you would like to receive training credit. All sessions will earn HHS training credit. 6.0 credit hours are available each day.

NAC Renewal Credit

All workshops are approved for NAC credit.

Northwestern logo

Northwestern College is offering one license renewal credit or one graduate credit to licensed teachers who attend the Fall Institute and complete required follow-up activities. To be eligible for the credit you must:

Step 1: Pre-register online (link coming soon) before the Institute or register at the Northwestern College exhibit table Friday morning before the first session begins;

Step 2: Attend the Institute all day both Friday and Saturday;

Step 3: Meet with a Northwestern professor over the lunch hour both days of the Institute;

Step 4: Following the Institute, those completing a graduate credit must complete the required follow-up activities noted in the syllabus.

This credit will be accepted for the Iowa teacher licensure renewal credit. Please check with your higher education institution to ensure this credit will be accepted towards a degree.

Note: registering for the credit from Northwestern and registering for the Fall Institute are two separate registrations and fees. To register for the Fall Institute, click here.
