Our Professional Engagement Groups (or PEGs) are interest-based groups for any and all early care and education professionals around the state of Iowa. PEGs are open to members and non-members of Iowa AEYC that are interested in further developing their skills and knowledge in the early care and education field in conjunction with others in the workforce.

At this time, we offer five different PEGs: Advocacy, Developmentally Appropriate Practice, Family Child Care, Leadership, and Quality. You are free to participate in as many or as few meetings from as many or as few PEGs as you want.

The DAP co-chair works to inform the field on developmentally appropriate practices and ensures these practices are implemented for the birth to age 8 population.

The Advocacy co-chair informs the early childhood profession and the community at large about critical policies in the early childhood field.
