Applications may either be mailed to Iowa AEYC (4400 Westown Parkway, Suite 360, West Des Moines, IA 50266) or emailed to teach@iowaaeyc.org.
Our counselors regularly check for new applications. If you believe that you had previously submitted your application on our online form, but haven’t heard back from us, please give us a call at 515.331.8000 x113.
Application Deadlines
Fall term: July 15
Spring term: November 15
Summer term: April 30
Here are the documents you should take the time to collect, both from your program and from yourself, before starting the T.E.A.C.H. application:
- A Copy of your program’s HHS license or registration certificate
- A Copy of your program’s QRS/IQ4K certificate (if applicable)
- A Copy of your program’s NAEYC/NAFCC accreditation (if applicable)
- A form of personal Income verification (current paycheck stub, Schedule C, etc.)
- Financial aid (FAFSA) proof of application (not applicable to CDA assessment or applicants who have obtained a bachelor’s degree)
- Copy of prior college transcript (can be unofficial)
- W9 (PDF)
